Terms of Service

Last updated: September 9, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website startinparaguay.com (the "Site") and the services offered by Start In Paraguay, based in Asunción, Paraguay ("Start In Paraguay," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Start In Paraguay is an independent consulting and referral service that helps foreign nationals understand and pursue residency, entry visa, and investor status options in Paraguay. We provide information, guidance, and a direct introduction to an independent, licensed immigration lawyer based in Asunción, who is engaged separately by the client to carry out the legal process.

2. Not a law firm — no attorney-client relationship

Start In Paraguay is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We do not represent clients before Paraguayan immigration or government authorities. All legal work — including document review, filings, and representation — is performed by our independent legal partner under a separate engagement directly between you and that lawyer or law office. No attorney-client relationship is created between you and Start In Paraguay by using the Site, booking a consultation, or engaging our services.

3. Our services

Depending on your situation, we help connect you with our legal partner for one or more of the following: Temporary Residency + Cédula, Entry Visa (for nationalities that require one), and Investor Pass (for qualifying investors seeking permanent residency). Specific requirements, timelines, and costs are confirmed during your consultation and may change based on your individual circumstances and current Paraguayan law.

4. Free consultation

We offer an initial consultation at no cost to help you understand your options. This consultation is informational only and does not constitute legal advice or a guarantee that you qualify for any particular residency, visa, or investor pathway.

5. Fees & payments

Our service fee is separate from, and in addition to, any fees charged by our independent legal partner for their legal services. Current fees are provided to you directly during your consultation and confirmed in writing before you proceed.

6. No guarantee of outcome

Residency, visa, and investor approvals are granted at the sole discretion of the relevant Paraguayan government authorities. While we and our legal partner aim to prepare applications thoroughly and correctly, we do not and cannot guarantee that any application will be approved, nor do we guarantee specific processing times. Statements on the Site about typical outcomes or timelines are based on general experience and are not a promise of any particular result in your case.

7. Client responsibilities

To proceed with our services, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information and documentation, respond to requests in a timely manner, comply with all applicable Paraguayan laws throughout the process, and understand that delays or issues caused by incomplete or inaccurate information you provide are your responsibility.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, and design — is the property of Start In Paraguay or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Start In Paraguay is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our services, including damages related to delays, denials, or changes in immigration policy beyond our control. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees you paid to Start In Paraguay (excluding any fees paid directly to our legal partner) for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

10. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to third-party websites or services, such as our legal partner's office, payment processors, or social media. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party.

11. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Paraguay. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Asunción, Paraguay, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
